A week after I purchased my Freezer Misers, I got to see them in action on our outdoor water faucets. We had 31-32F temps at night and the FMs worked exactly as designed. They dripped ever so slightly. I had a problem with on of my FMs turning on full spray during cold weather a couple mornings prior to our freeze, but I contacted FM and they provided almost-immediate support to remediate and test the fix. In fact, I believe the problem had nothing to do with the FM, but instead had to do with the fact I had not ever used that particular faucet, and as a result, the water in it was "dirty" with oxidation. In any event, that particular FM is working as designed now.
I now own 13 freezemisers and they are a blessing. Temps last year in south Louisiana got to 3 degrees for 7 days and 13” of snow that lasted for 10 days. No issues.
We’ve had some pretty cold nights since I installed them (down around 0) and they have worked great.
Keeps the hoses open to the water troughs even in the deep freeze of -20 degrees F in Minnesota. Just keep a trough heater in to keep a layer of ice forming on the top. .
Attached the 2-way Y valve with shutoff to the end of a hose to water some cattle. The overnight low last night was -4 and the Freeze Miser worked great.
Easy to install and they work we been having below freezing temperatures and you can see the water dripping out slowly to prevent the pipes from freezing…thanks for a well made product..
So far everything seems to working properly however there is some water drips from one of them when the temp is way above freezing, not sure what that's about but we will see when temps drop to the single digits next week.
I was hesitant in trying this product. Glad I took the leap. No more struggling carrying five gallon buckets of water from the house to the barn and coops.

We started with a two pack to try them out and have since made another order. They keep the “tiny house” hose connection to the hydrant from freezing. This has froze every year, even with heat tape and insulation, but not since we received this great little invention. We have now added them to our greenhouse hydrants and our shop hose bibs.
